“If you are looking for a quiet venue with a nearby beach (10-15 minutes walk, loads of walking routes in the surrounding forest and pretty near to the town for restaurants and bars then this is for you. The Hotel, has its own bar and restaurant too. Very clean and staff were very helpful. If you are looking for a lively venue with lots of nightlife and late nights then this is not for you.”

“Good hotel in a early 20th century castle-style house. Really nice beds and rooms. The best thing is the huge estate around it, though. You can explore forested landscapes, dunes and there is playground in the woods for the kids that you can see from the terrace. The view from up there is great and you can see the North Sea from there.”

“We stayed at this beautiful historic hotel for the weekend and had very pleasant experience. Excellent breakfast and good location, just 15 minutes walk to the beach. It's a pitty that dinner is only served untill 17:00 though. The staff is super friendly, the only thing we didn't like is that when we left after breakfast, we locked the room and came back maybe an hour later, the door to our room was unlocked and open. After maybe half an hour came the cleaner to clean the room. We had all our stuff, wallets and laptops in there so anyone could have come in and stolen something. Luckily nothing happend. Otherwise it was a great experience, definitely recommend.”

“Great hotel, but perhaps not more than 1-2 nights. Area is amazing, location is to die for. Service was great, so.was breakfast. The beds though, had very cheap mattress toppers, almost fell twice during the night while shifting. The receptionist was great at giving infos about the hotel, such a lovely history.”

“This is a hidden gem. Only a few rooms available, book it as soon as you can. . . Hidden by a lush forest just a 10 minute walk from the beach. . . The best coffee in Holland, comfortable beds, friendly service and soft wind and sea air surrounding the grand windows and high ceilings of your room. I never sleep well in a hotel the first night but I had no problem here.”
